To create a safe and happy environment for children, nurturing the growth of each child’s development in the areas of physical, social/ emotional, cognitive and language.  Our teaching technique is a base of scaffolding and continuous positive dialogue, healthy well balanced meals, the proper developmental tools for play, as well as interaction with others.  We believe that the Centre’s environment acts as ‘the third teacher.’  Children have the opportunity to create their surroundings in play and engage in numerous developmental and learning activities, based on experimenting with real things, literature, art, and music within the different learning areas set up in our Centre.  
 
One of the Centre’s core values rests on the Christian teachings and children will come across icons, the occasional holiday celebrations and bible stories within this great space shared with the St. Elias Sunday School. 
 
Nutrition and fitness are key factors to healthy growth and development. Fresh, nutritious meals and snacks are prepared daily, by our chef who is certified in food handling.  Our menu provides a ten week selection of meals and snacks.  All food provided to the  children is made on site and are exceptionally healthy, leaning toward whole grains and alternative proteins.  Lunch is served in our dining hall. All of the children and their educators eat together. Parents have the opportunity to participate in their child’s surroundings by joining their loved one on a selected lunch hour or volunteer on our parents’ committee. 
 
We are committed to a fitness program for all ages and a homework club to our school age program to give families the well deserved time with their loved ones during the evening hours. 

Our educators are all certified Early Childhood Educators and are dedicated to the implementation of our philosophy that transcends in the care of the children. We are committed to the development of each and every child’s complete growth, in health, play and socialization, so that they become firm believers in themselves and in their development.
